WHEREAS, Request for Proposals were solicited from professional service firms for the purpose of developing a Municipal Campus Master Plan, and,
WHEREAS, the proposals submitted by six firms were reviewed and evaluated to determine the top firms who were then interviewed by staff, and,
WHEREAS, after final evaluations, staff recommends that the project be awarded to Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) for a total project amount of $115,000.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the award of the project to GMC and authorizes the Mayor to enter into an agreement with this firm.
SECTION 2: Funds are currently available for this project in two separate accounts; Account #100-1020-6020, Municipal Complex Consulting/Professional Fees, contains $75,000 and Account #100-3000-6020, Infrastructure & Development Consulting/Professional Fees, contains $40,000. It is requested that the funds noted in Account #100-1020-6020 ($75,000) be transferred to Account #100-3000-6020 for a combined total of $115,000 which matches the proposed amount from GMC.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
