Pastor Josh Williams and Crosspoint Baptist Church would like to host the 3rd Annual Candlelight Worship and Christmas Carolling Service in Heritage Park on December 19, 2026 from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm. They will light candles (open flames) and have a worship leader, soundboard, speakers and musical instruments. This is a free, family friendly event open to everyone. Dry conditions may affect the use of candles so a final decision will be made by the City of Foley the week of the event.

WHEREAS, Pastor Josh Williams with the Crosspoint Baptist Church has requested to waive fees for the use of Heritage Park, and
WHEREAS, Crosspoint Baptist Church plans to host a Candlelight Worship and Christmas Carolling Service in the park on December 19, 2026 from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm, and
WHEREAS, They will light candles (open flames) and have a worship leader, soundboard, speakers and musical instruments.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves waiving the fees for the use of Heritage Park for Crosspoint Baptist Church to host a Candlelight Worship and Christmas Carolling Service December 19, 2026 from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
