Repairs were done to the Peteet Building which houses Foley Art Center in 2018. The building is in need of additional repairs and we estimate that cost to be $16,000. There is rotten siding all over the building with mold now growing on the exterior. We also would like to add gutters around the building to help keep the siding from rotting and water from going under the building. We received two options from Bluewater Exteriors. We recommend Option 1.

WHEREAS, The Peteet Building which houses the Foley Art Center is in need of repairs, and
WHEREAS, We received a quote from Bluewater Exteriors to install gutters around the building.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the repairs to the building not to exceed $16,000.
SECTION 2: Accepts Bluewater Exterions' quote for Option 1 for gutter installation in the amount of $4,976.
SECTION 3: Appropriates $20,976 under Account No. 400-3020-5130.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
