WHEREAS, the Environmental Department has budgeted a full sized truck in the FY 2024 budget, and
WHEREAS, Stivers Ford Lincoln has an available pickup that meets the needs of the Environmental Department up to $37,018, and
WHEREAS, Stivers Ford Lincoln will hold the pickup with a Letter of Intent for purchase of the pickup on October 1, 2023, and
WHEREAS, the Environmental Department requests to purchase the 2023 Ford F150 Supercrew 4x2 Pickup off the State Contract List T191-U281 up to $37,018.00 under Account 100-2040-5100.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Environmental Department to purchase the 2023 Ford F150 Supercrew 4x2 Pickup off the State Contract List T191-U281 up to $37,018.00 under Account 100-2040-5100 and allows the Mayor to sign a Letter of Intent to hold the vehicle until October 1, 2023.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
