We are now asking permission to go to bid and purchase two trucks to replace two older existing trucks. We believe the total cost of these purchases should not exceed $94,000. We budgeted $84,000 for two new vehicles, but we are not requesting additional funding and plan to use previous savings on other capital purchases to make up the difference.

WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation has a need to purchase two 4x4 trucks to replace two existing trucks, and
WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation budgeted for two vehicles in the FY25 budget, and
WHEREAS, these two new trucks will replace two older, existing trucks.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves going to bid and purchasing two new trucks under account #100-5030-5100 for an amount not to exceed $94,000.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
