WHEREAS, the Common Sense Campaign is requesting to have the fees waived for the use of the Foley Civic Center on August 13, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. for a candidate forum to inform and educate voters, and
WHEREAS, the public will be invited and they will have the opportunity to submit questions for the candidates.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Waives the fees for the use of the Foley Civic Center on August 13, 2020.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
