WHEREAS, there are Christmas cobra pole decorations that have been refurbished numerous times that are damaged with bad wiring, bent hardware and broken bulbs, and the Beautification Advisory Board does not recommend spending any more City funds on refurbishing them again,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the declaration of seventy-eight (78) Christmas Trees, Seventy-Three (73) Candles, and 15 wreaths as surplus and approves disposal by the best means possible.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
