After the approval of Resolution 23-1074, Fastenal notified Engineering the four dehumidifiers were not in stock as previously stated. Sylvane Inc has the four dehumidifiers in stock and we have purchased through Sylvane Inc due to the Justice Center in dire need of the dehumidifiers. The dehumidifiers are needed to start the drying process due to a previous roof replacement and mold issues.There are no changes to the request to increase departmental budget dollars from Resolution 23-1074.

WHEREAS, on March 6, 2023, Council adopted Resolution 23-1074 approving the purchase of four dehumidifiers for the Justice Center from the State of Alabama Purchasing Contract #MA0000002705 through Fastenal, and
WHEREAS, upon ordering the four dehumidifiers from Fastenal, Engineering was notified the dehumidifiers were not in stock as previously stated, and
WHEREAS, Engineering located four dehumidifiers in stock through Sylvane Inc and they were ordered with no additional funding needed.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Amends Resolution 23-1074 to approve the memorialize and revise the purchase from Fastenal to Sylvane Inc and become a permanent part of this resolution.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
