WHEREAS, Resolution 25-1420 approved additional professional services from GMC for the James Road Extension Project; and
WHEREAS, due to the findings, a Section 404 Individual Permit is required from the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE); and
WHEREAS, GMC submitted a proposal in the amount of $81,478.25 to perform the tasks associated with completing the permitting process as well as the processing fee required by ADEM to review the permit application during the public notice period, issue a Water Quality Certification, and a processing fee paid to USACE upon permit approval.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approve GMC's professional services proposal for the Section 404 Individual Permit and process and appropriate $90,000 to Account No #400-3020-5180.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
