     WHEREAS, the Horticulture Department requests to go to bid and purchase a new truck for up to $65,000, and
     WHEREAS, a new truck is included in the FY24 budget as a water truck under account 100-5050-5100 for $65,000
          
     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
     
     SECTION 1:     Approves to go to bid and purchase a budgeted vehicle under account 100-5050-5100 for an amount not to exceed $65,000.
     SECTION 2:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
