WHEREAS, Foley Public Library previously requested permission to apply for the FY2022 American Rescue Plan Grant Program on RES 20-1200, and
WHEREAS, IMLS has awarded the City of Foley $17,582 with $17,582 matching funds with $7,964 as in kind and $9,618.00 in cash, and
WHEREAS, the Library requests to accept the award and amends the following accounts in the FY22 budget: 100-5020-4301 IMLS American Rescue Plan Grant Revenue account by $17,582.00 and 100-5020-6026 IMLS American Rescue Plan Grant Expense account by $27,200.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the FY2022 American Rescue Plan Grant Program for $35,164.00.
SECTION 2: Amends the budget accordingly: 100-5020-4301 IMLS American Rescue Plan Grant Revenue account by $17,582.00 and 100-5020-6026 IMLS American Rescue Plan Grant Expense account by $27,200.00.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
