WHEREAS, the City of Foley owns the Comfort Station located at the John B. Foley Park, and
WHEREAS, the old Comfort Station will be demolished and disposed of upon the completion of the new Comfort Station being built, and
WHEREAS, Engineering is requesting $2000 to be allocated to the project for all fees including Landfill fees.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Declare the structure on the property located at John B. Foley Park as surplus and authorizes the removal of this structure by demolition and/or best means possible.
SECTION 2: Allocate $2000 to Account No. 400-5060-5103 for all fees including Landfill fees and demolition.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
