WHEREAS, OWA requests to host fireworks shows for the winter season on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. for the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony with a make-up day on Sunday, November 19, 2023 and on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 8:50 p.m. for New Year's Eve with a make-up day on Sunday, December 31, 2023.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves fireworks display to be held at the OWA grounds on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. for the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony with a make-up day on Sunday, November 19, 2023 and on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 8:50 p.m. for New Year's Eve with a make-up day on Sunday, December 31, 2023.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
