WHEREAS, the Street Department has seen an increased workload with added projects and responsibilities due to the growth of the City and requests to convert and add certain positions to the Pay Classification Plan to accommodate the department's needs.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Amends the Pay Classification Plan by converting one slot of Crew Leader/Equipment Operator III (Construction) (Job code 3010106/Grade 120) to Crew Leader/Equipment Operator IV (Construction Maintenance) (Job code 3010112/Grade 130).
SECTION 2: Amends the Pay Classification Plan by converting one slot of Equipment Operator II (Job code 3010104/Grade 80) to Crew Leader/Equipment Operator IV (Road Construction) (Job code 3010113/Grade 130).
SECTION 3: Amends the Pay Classification Plan by converting one slot of Equipment Operator II (Job code 3010104/Grade 80) to Equipment Operator III (Construction Maintenance) (Job code 3010114/Grade 110).
SECTION 4: Authorizes the transfer of funds from 100-9200-5999 Reserve for Salary Increases to certain Street Department personnel accounts to be provided by the Human Resources Division upon approval of this resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
