WHEREAS, The City of Foley’s Community Development Department (CDD) requested permission and was approved to apply for the FY20 Census Grant Program through Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA) on Resolution 19-1300, and
WHEREAS, ADECA has awarded the City of Foley $10,000.00 to assist with the purchase of promotional items for the Census Complete County Committee, and
WHEREAS, CDD requests the following accounts be amended accordingly: #100-2030-6176 (Census Complete - Expense) in the amount of $10,000 & account #100-2030-4200 (ADECA-Census Complete Revenue) in the amount of $10,000.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the $10,000 award from ADECA for the FY20 Census Outreach Grant.
SECTION 2: Approves the following accounts to be amended accordingly: #100-2030-6176 (Census Complete - Expense) in the amount of $10,000 & account #100-2030-4200 (ADECA-Census Complete Revenue) in the amount of $10,000.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
