WHEREAS, the Fire Department's training building, located on Bender Road, was constructed in 1996 and is in great need of renovation, and
WHEREAS, the renovation is necessary to reinforce the structural integrity of the building in order for department personnel to safely perform their training, and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department requests the project move forward and to go to bid for the renovation to the building.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves moving forward with the project and going to bid for the Training Center Burn Building renovation.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
