WHEREAS, Riviera Utilities estimated $79,184.09 for street lighting from E Violet Ave to E Section Ave, and
WHEREAS, James Bros. quoted $127,856.00 to complete the construction of the Highway 59 Sidewalk from E Orchid Ave to E Section Ave, and
WHEREAS, Street Department is requesting a $208,000.00 under account 400-3010-5101 A23 FY26 to complete the sidewalk project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the James Brothers Excavating estimate in the amount of $127,856.00 allowing up to $128,000.00 for Highway 59 Sidewalk from E Orchid Ave to E Section Ave.
SECTION 2: Approves the Riviera Utilities estimate in the amount of $79,184.09 allowing up to $80,000.00 for lighting from E Violet Ave to E Section Ave.
SECTION 3: Appropriates $208,000.00 under Account # 400-3010-5101 A23 FY26.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law
