Summary
The Scenic Byway/Coastal Connection signage at the Hwy 98 / US Hwy 59 intersection are not in good condition. ALDOT can install new signage but cannot pay for fabricating new signs. If the City would like them replaced, we would pay to fabricate the signage and ALDOT would install it through existing account funds.

WHEREAS, The Scenic Byway/Coastal Connection signage at the Hwy 98 / US Hwy 59 intersection are not in good condition, and
WHEREAS, ALDOT has agreed to install new Scenic Byway/Coastal Connection signage if the City of Foley agrees to have new signage fabricated.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approve the replacement of the Scenic Byway/Coastal Connection signage at the Hwy 98 / US Hwy 59 intersection.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
