WHEREAS, the Nature Parks Department has expressed a need for a golf cart to transport staff and visitors around the park, and
WHEREAS, the Nature Parks Department requests to purchase a 2022 Icon 140 4 passenger golf cart under Account 100-5090-5100 for $9892 from Gulf Carts Plus, and
WHEREAS, there is $10,000 budgeted for a capital purchase in FY22 budget as a playground structure.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Nature Parks Department to purchase a 2022 Icon 140 4 passenger golf cart under Account 100-5090-5100 for $9892 from Gulf Carts Plus.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
