The Foley Library would like to replace the old and worn flooring in the computer lab with a new longer lasting rubber tile which will create a safer, more inviting atmosphere in one of the most extensively used areas in the facilty. The cost for the project will be $5,128.78 with the low estimate being submitted by Wade Distributors, Inc. of Foley. The Library would like to move the $5,128.78 in surplus cash from line item 600-5025 (Audio/Visual) in the checkbook to line item 600-4010 ( Building and Grounds Maintenance) in the checkbook in order to proceed with the project.

WHEREAS, the City of Foley Public Library would like to replace the flooring in it's computer lab in order to remove worn tile and replace it with new, longer lasting material, and
WHEREAS, through the approval of the Foley Public Library Advisory Board the new tile will create a safer, and more inviting atmosphere, and
WHEREAS, the cost of the project will total $5,128.78 and will be imjplemented by Wade Distributors, Inc. of Foley.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the flooring project and the movement of surplus cash in the Library checkbook in the amount of $5,128.78 from line item 600-5025 (Audio/Visual) to line item 600-4010 (Building and Grounds Maintenance) in order to fund the project
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
