Summary
To better serve the citizens of Foley, the Street Department requests to purchase a 2006 Vactor 2100 Series Vac Truck from Riviera Utilities for 35,000.00. It was included in the FY21 budget for $50,000 under account# 100-3011-5100 as a Vacuum/Jetter small as an addition. It is much needed for the regular, typical maintenance and clearing of culverts and will be needed when the MS4 regulations take affect in the near future.

WHEREAS, the Street Department requests to purchase a 2006 Vactor 2100 Series Vac Truck from Riviera Utilities for 35,000.00, AND
WHEREAS, It was included in the FY21 budget for $50,000 under account# 100-3011-5100 as a Vacuum/Jetter small as an addition, AND
WHEREAS, It is much needed for the regular, typical maintenance and clearing of culverts and will be needed when the MS4 regulations take affect in the near future.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Street Department request to purchase a 2006 Vactor 2100 Series Vac Truck from Riviera Utilities for 35,000.00 under account# 100-3011-5100 as it was included in the FY21 budget.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
