In order to promote upcoming events during the summer and the fall, the City of Foley Public Library would like to move $2,000.00 from line item 04-600-6040 (Equipment Maintenance) to line item 04-600-8110 (Public Relations). In addition the Library would like to move $2,000.00 from line item 04-600-6040 (Equipment Maintenance) to line item 04-600-5010 (Small Tools) in order to purchase additional shelving. Also the Library would like to move $2,500.00 from line item 04-600-5025 (Audio/Visual) to line item 04-600-5020 (Supplies).

WHEREAS, the City of Foley Public Library would like to continue promoting its sponsored events on local radio, television, newspapers, and through flyer campaigns, and
WHEREAS, the City of Foley Public Library would like to purchase additional shelving for its fiction section, and
WHEREAS, the City of Foley Public Library would like to supplement its supply account in the 04-600 fund, and
WHEREAS, the City of Foley Public Library would like to move $2,000.00 from line item 04-600-6040 (Equipment Maintenance) to line item 04-600-8110 (Public Relations); $2,000.00 from line item 04-600-6040 (Equipment Maintenance) to line item 04-600-5010 (Small Tools); $2,500.00 from line item 04-600-5025 (Audio/Visual) to line item 04-600-5020 (Supplies), and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned funding is already budgeted and its movement approved by the City of Foley Library Advisory Board.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the total amount of funding ($6,500) to be re-allocated.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
