WHEREAS, the Foley Fire Department has a new custom fire pumper scheduled for completion and delivery in September, 2023, and
WHEREAS, the loose equipment for this pumper is needed to fully outfit it for service and budgeted in the FY23 Ad Valorem Fund.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves going to bid and purchasing all required loose equipment for the new custom fire pumper up to $100,000 as budgeted under Capital Puchases account # 200-2021-5100 in the Fire Ad Valorem Fund.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
