The Sanitation Department requests to purchase a 2021 Ford F150 Crew Cab from Stivers Ford Lincoln under State Bid #T191 for $25,841.00 It was included in the FY21 budget for $26,000 under account# 100-4010-5100. This is an addition to the Sanitation fleet. Because the city has expanded and grown, there are more streets to clean up and more time spent monitoring the street/ditches for debris/bulk. We have to order in advance to receive the truck close to May 2021, for which time the truck was budgeted.

WHEREAS, The Sanitation Department requests to purchase a 2021 Ford F150 Crew Cab from Stivers Ford Lincoln under State Bid #T191 for $25,841.00 , AND
WHEREAS, It is an addition to the Sanitation fleet that was included in the FY21 budget under account# 100-4010-5100 for $26,000, AND
WHEREAS, It is needed due to the expansion/growth in the city that requires more monitoring & cleanup of street/ditches of debris/bulk.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approve the Sanitation purchase of a 2021 Ford F150 Crew Cab from Stivers Ford Lincoln under State Bid #T191 for $25,841.00, which was included in the FY21 budget under account# 100-4010-5100.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
