WHEREAS, Goodwyn Mills Cawood submitted a proposal for the design of a multi-purpose event center.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves hiring Goodwyn Mills Cawood for the design of the multi-use cultural and entertainment center in the amount of $765,271 as outlined in the proposal and is made a permanent part of this resolution upon adoption.
SECTION 2: Approving the creation of accounts for the multi-purpose Cultural & Entertainment Center as needed.
SECTION 3: Appropriates $765,271 to Account No. _51-665-7200 R21 PROF__ for the architectural fees. These fees will be reimbursed from the sale of bonds.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
