WHEREAS, $1,000,000,000 is included in the FY2023 Capital Plan for Resurfacing, and
WHEREAS, A proposal from Sawgrass Consulting has been received for the professional services (design, bid package, geotechnical engineering testing, and inspection) in the amount of $270,750.00
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes the Mayor to execute the Professional Services Agreement with Sawgrass Consulting in accordance with the terms of the reference proposal in the amount of $270,750.00 and appropriate funding in the amount of $1,000,000,000 to account No. 400-3020-6197 A13 FY23.
SECTION 2: Authorizes the solicitation of construction bids once final bid package is approved.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
