WHEREAS, South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce Board approved the offer of the building at 200 Alston Street from the City of Foley, and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department would like to enter into a lease agreement for office space at a new location.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes the Mayor to negotiate and enter into a lease agreement for the Engineering Department's new office space, not to exceed $34,000 annually plus the costs of utilities and janitorial supplies.
SECTION 2: Appropriates funds in the amount not to exceed $34,000 under Account No. 100-3020-6112 Lease-Office Building.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
