WHEREAS, the Nature Parks Department submitted a grant for the FY26 Legislative Event Grant per Representative Francis Holk-Jones's request, and
WHEREAS, Representative Holk-Jones has nominated Graham Creek's Haunted Forest & Spooky Express as a potential recipient of this grant, and
WHEREAS, there are no matching funds required.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Council would like to thank Representative Holk-Jones for her support of Graham Creek's Haunted Forest & Spooky Express.
SECTION 2: Council approves to memorialize the application submitted for the FY26 Legislative Event Grant for the Graham Creek's Haunted Forest & Spooky Express.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
