The Foley Public Library would like to acknowledge the receipt of a generous donation from the Friends of the Foley Public Library in the amount of $2,000.00. The unbudgeted donation was received in the form of a check on 10/9/14 and deposited in the 04-600 Fund. The Foley Public Library would like to memorialize the donation to be used toward the purchase of Baby Bundle Packets which will be distributed to the parents of newborns at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center. The $2,000.00 should be made part of Account # 04-600-5020 (Supplies). The promotional packets will encourage reading and the use of the Foley Public Library among the new parents of the area.

WHEREAS, the Friends of the Foley Public Library donated $2,000.00 to be used towards the purchase of Baby Bundle Packets to be distributed to the parents of newborns at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Acknowledges the Friends of the Foley Public Library donation in the amount of $2,000.00 and memorializes the use of the donation to purchase Baby Bundle Packets for South Baldwin Regional Medical Center to be distributed to the parents of newborns. The Library Fund Revenue Account 04-5861 and the Library Account 04-600-5020 (Supplies) are amended accordingly.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
