WHEREAS, Street Department planned $1M in FY25 for Sidewalk Improvements and requests permission to construct a sidewalk on Azalea Ave starting at Goodwill and connecting to existing sidewalk at the Azalea Trace neighborhood, AND
WHEREAS, Street Department received an estimate for construction from James Bros Excavating in the amount of $31,277.50, AND
WHEREAS, Street Department requests to appropriate funds for construction, not to exceed $32,000.00, under account #400-3010-5101 A23 FY25.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Appropriates $32,000.00 under account #400-3010-5101 A23 FY25.
SECTION 2: Accepts James Bros Excavating's proposal of $31,277.50, not to exceed $32,000.00.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
