WHEREAS, Morning Star MIssionary Baptist Church is hosting a May Day event on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 9 am - 9 pm at Beulah Heights Park, and
WHEREAS, they are requesting to have all fees waived and are also asking the City to provide additional picnic tables and trash cans for the event, and
WHEREAS, the event will have charcoal grills, food trucks, music, and baseball and basketball games.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves waiving fees and providing additional picnic tables and trash cans for Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church to use Beulah Heights Park on May 17, 2025 from 9 am - 9 pm for a May Day Event.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
