The Archer Company has re-evaluated the position and reclassified if from a Grade 15 to a Grade 18, Non-Exempt, Job Code #2005. There is a need to transfer inter-departmental funds in the FY17 Engineering Departmental Budget in support of this action.

     WHEREAS, There is a need to upgrade the position of Engineering Aide due to the job duties having changed substantially in this position. The Archer Company has re-evaluated the position and reclassified if from a Grade 15 to a Grade 18, Non-Exempt, Job Code #2005. There is a need to transfer inter-departmental funds in the FY17 Engineering Departmental Budget in support of this action.

 

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

                          SECTION 1:                     Approves an amendment to the Pay Classification Plan to re-classify the Engineering Aide (G-15) to Construction Projects Manager at a Grade 18, Exempt, Job Code #2005, effective pay period beginning March 7, 2017, and

                     SECTION 2:                     In support of this action approves transferring a total of $3,405 from Account #624-8010 Maintenance Streets and transferring an allocation of $3,000 to 624-1010 Salaries, $200 to 624-1030 Payroll Taxes, $175 to 624-1050 Retirement Expense, and $30 to 624-1160 Workers Comp Expense.

                     SECTION 3:                     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
