WHEREAS, there is a need for air purification systems for public health and safety for City owned buildings.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the allocation of $120,000 to Account #100-9200-6800, COVID 19 and amends the account, accordingly.
SECTION 2: Approves the purchase of an air purification system from Wittichen Supply Co. in the amount of $49,178.21
SECTION 3: Authorizes staff to go to bid for ionization system for the Foley Event Center.
SECTION 4: Authorizes the installation of air purification system at the City's third polling place (Foley United Methodist Church) subject to legal review.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
