WHEREAS, the Revitalization and Beautification Advisory Board would like to dedicate the second Butterfly Garden located north of the Foley Dog Park to Mr. Terry Underwood, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Underwood was the Agriculture Teacher at Foley High School for several years where he built Butterfly Gardens for the Foley Elementary and High Schools, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Underwood was a member of the Revitalization and Beautification Advisory Board for fifteen years and he always talked about building a Butterfly Garden in the City of Foley, and
WHEREAS, the Revitalization and Beautification Advisory Board now has two beautiful Butterfly Gardens in the City of Foley, and
WHEREAS, the Revitalization and Beautification Advisory Board would like to dedicate the second garden, which is also bigger to the Board Members' Mentor and Friend, Mr. Terry Underwood.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the dedication of the second Butterfly Garden located north of the Foley Dog Park to Mr. Terry Underwood.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
