Summary
Engineering received a request to install 20 new street lights on existing wooden poles. We are requesting Riviera Utilities to install 20 new lights which would include a Cobra Head 110W light on existing wooden poles. The installation would be $4409.65 with a $200.00 monthly fee. WHEREAS, Engineering is requesting 20 new street lights to be installed on South Juniper Street between East Pride Drive and County Road 20, and
WHEREAS, We received a quote from Riviera Utilities for new lights in the amount of $4409.65 for the installation charges and a $200.00 monthly fee.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the installation of 20 new street lights on South Juniper Street between East Pride Drive and County Road 20.
SECTION 2: Approves the one-time installation charge to Riviera Utilities for $4409.65 under Account No. 100-3020-6012 and a monthly fee of $200.00 under Account No. 100-1012-6123.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
