WHEREAS, beavers that are building dams are creating drainage issues in two locations within the city, and
WHEREAS, the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service-Wildlife Service will provide wildlife damage management services and control of the beavers, and
WHEREAS, this will require a Cooperative Service Agreement between the City and the USDA-APHIS-Wildlife Services and a fee paid to them to provide the services for one year.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Appropriates $3,000.00 for wildlife damage management and control services to Account No. 01-607-8010.
SECTION 2: Approves the agreement for wildlife damage management and control services with the USDA-APHIS-Wildlife Services.
SECTION 3: Approves the not to exceed amount of $3,000.00 for the wildlife damage management and control services for Account No. 01-607-8010.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
