WHEREAS, The Finance Department requests permission to declare the produce processing line equipment (Asset ID #10117) as surplus and no longer needed for public purpose per approval provided by USDA Rural Grant Specialist Allan Johnson. The equipment will be sold by JM Woods Auction Company in Montgomery, AL.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the request to declare the produce processing line equipment (Asset ID #10117) as surplus and no longer needed for public purpose.
SECTION 2: Approves produce processing line equipment (Asset ID #10117) to be sold by JM Woods Auction Company in Montgomery, AL.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
