Summary

 Darrell Russell, Public Works Superintendent, requests to purchase three (3) 2021 Ford F150 crew cab 4x2 pickup trucks from Stivers Ford Lincoln at $25,841 each, for a total cost of $77,523.00, under State Contract T191. They are additions. They were budgeted in FY22 as Full Size Pickups for ST MAINTENANCE under Account# 100-3012-5100, ST SIDEWALKS under Account# 100-3013-5100, and RESIDENTIAL SANITATION (4011) under Account # 601-4011-5100.

As the City continues to grow, new trucks are needed to keep up with the workload that also increases with the growth.

WHEREAS, The City continues to grow, and new trucks are needed to keep up with the workload that also increases with the growth. AND

 

WHEREAS, Three trucks were budgeted in FY22 as Full Size Pickups for ST MAINTENANCE under Account# 100-3012-5100, ST SIDEWALKS under Account# 100-3013-5100, and RESIDENTIAL SANITATION (4011) under Account # 601-4011-5100 and they are additions, AND

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

 

SECTION 1: Approves the purchase of three (3) 2021 Ford F150 crew cab 4x2 pickup trucks from Stivers Ford Lincoln at $25,841 each, for a total cost of $77,523.00, under State Contract T191, for ST MAINTENANCE under Account# 100-3012-5100, ST SIDEWALKS under Account# 100-3013-5100, and RESIDENTIAL SANITATION (4011) under Account # 601-4011-5100. They are additions and were budgeted in FY22.

 

SECTION 2:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
