WHEREAS, a job analysis was completed on multiple positions within the Financial Services Division due to significant changes in the job functions, minimum requirements, and responsibilities tasked to these positions, and
WHEREAS, the analysis did result in the recommendation for job title changes and pay range upgrades.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Amends the Pay Classification Plan by re-titling and upgrading the position of Accounting Supervisor (Job Code 1010113 / Grade 190) to Deputy Finance Director (Job Code 1010132 / Grade 220).
SECTION 2: Amends the Pay Classification Plan by re-titling and upgrading the position of Accounting Clerk (Job Code 1010105 / Grade 90) to Accounting Technician (Job Code 1010133 / Grade 110).
SECTION 3: Amends the Pay Classification Plan by re-titling and upgrading one slot in the position of Accounts Payable Clerk (Job Code 1010106 / Grade 90) to Accounts Payable Specialist (Job Code 1010134 / Grade 110). This action will decrease the position of Accounts Payable Clerk by one slot.
SECTION 4: The HR Division will provide the budget transfers to the Financial Services Division upon adoption of this resolution.
SECTION 5: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
