WHEREAS, on March 4, 2024, Council adopted Resolution 24-1107, which approved the purchase of breakfast sandwiches for Foley High School ACT test students in the amount of $1,200, and
WHEREAS, more students were recently added to the test date causing the cost of the breakfast to increase by $184.50. Therefore, Resolution 24-1107 must be amended.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Amends Resolution 24-1107 to increase the one time donation support to the Foley High School in the amount of $184.50 and amends the account accordingly.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
