Council approved the temporary road closure during the Hoop It Up even August 18-21, 2016. The Hoop It up event has been rescheduled for October 22-23, 2016. Therefore, Resolution 16-1165 must be amended to reflect to new event dates.

WHEREAS, on July 5, 2016, Council adopted Resolution 16-1165 Request for Temporary Road Closure for Hoop It Up event at Tanger Outlets, and
WHEREAS, Council approved the temporary road closure at the South end of the Riviera Blvd Roundabout to block southbound, incoming traffic to the mall during the Hoop It Up even August 18-21, 2016, and
WHEREAS, the Hoop It up event has been rescheduled for October 22-23, 2016. Therefore, Resolution 16-1165 must be amended to reflect to new event dates.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Amends Resolution 16-1165 to change the Hoop It Up event dates and temporary road closure from August 18-21, 2016 to October 22-23, 2016.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
