Summary
The Municipal Complex Department is requesting to appropriate funds to perform window tinting on the outside of the Finance Building and City Hall. The quote for City Hall also includes frosting the interior executive office windows. This purchase was not previously accounted for under the FY26 budget. The Municipal Complex Department has obtained quotes and is requesting to appropriate $8,600 to the operational GL#100-1020-6010 (Building and Grounds Maintenance - Municipal Complex) and $1,400 to the GL#100-1012-6010 (Building Maintenance - Finance) account and move forward with the project. The project would be performed for Precision Glass Tinting for a not to exceed amount of $10,000.

WHEREAS, the Municipal Complex Department is requesting to appropriate funds to perform window tinting on the outside of the Finance Building and City Hall, and
WHEREAS, the quote for City Hall also includes frosting the interior executive office windows, and
WHEREAS, this purchase was not previously accounted for under the FY26 budget, and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Complex Department has obtained quotes and is requesting to appropriate $8,600 to the operational GL#100-1020-6010 (Building and Grounds Maintenance - Municipal Complex) and $1,400 to the GL#100-1012-6010 (Building Maintenance - Finance) account and move forward with the project, and
WHEREAS, the project would be performed for Precision Glass Tinting for a not to exceed amount of $10,000.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the appropriation of funds to for the window tinting project at the City Hall and the Finance Building.
SECTION 2: Appropriate $8,600 to the operational GL#100-1020-6010 (Building and Grounds Maintenance - Municipal Complex) and $1,400 to the GL#100-1012-6010 (Building Maintenance - Finance).
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
