WHEREAS, The Engineering Department requests permission to apply for the FY2021 Alabama Historic Commission Historic Sites Grant Program, and
WHEREAS, the maximum grant award is $30,000 with no match requirements. Applications will be accepted until August 21, 2020, and
WHEREAS, any funds received will be used for continued structural rehabilitation on the Hamburg Building.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes permission to the Engineering Department to apply for the FY2021 Alabama Historic Commission Historic Sites Grant Program.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
