WHEREAS, the Depot Museum requested permission to apply for the FY2022 Alabama Historic Commission Historic Sites Grant Program on RES 21-1267, and
WHEREAS, the Alabama Historical Commission has awarded the Depot Museum $6,200 to be used to upgrade the lighting at the depot museum, and
WHEREAS, the Depot Museum requests to accept this award and amend the budget accordingly.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes the Depot Museum to accept the FY2022 Alabama Historic Commission Historic Sites Grant award of $6,200.
SECTION 2: Approves to increase the budget accordingly: 100-5061-6025 (Alabama Historic Commission Grant Expense) in the amount of $6,200 and #100-5061-4201 (Alabama Historic Commission Grant Revenue) in the amount of $6,200.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
