WHEREAS, several events that normally bring people into Foley's downtown were cancelled or scaled back because of COVID-19, providing funding, and
WHEREAS, a socially-distanced outdoor spring event would safely allow people to come back into the downtown area to enjoy music for three Wednesdays at lunchtime.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Marketing Department to create a Music for Lunch in Heritage Park 2021 Spring event on Wednesdays March 17, 24 and 31 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
