WHEREAS, the Senior Center requests permission to apply for the FY2025 Community Foundation of South Alabama grant, and
WHEREAS, the grant will be accepting applications through July 31st, and
WHEREAS, the Senior Center will be requesting $25,000 to go towards a new bus for the senior center, and
WHEREAS, the City would be responsible for the difference between the grant and the cost of the vehicle.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Senior Center to apply for the FY2025 Community Foundation of South Alabama Grant to go towards the purchase of a new Senior Center bus.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
