WHEREAS, Lt. Darren "Shawn" Miller, served 34 years with the Foley Police Department and
WHEREAS, Foley Police Department is requesting the City to declare surplus his badge and (1) service weapon to allow him to receive due to his retirement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Declares Lt. Darren "Shawn" Miller's badge and (1) service weapon as surplus and authorizes these items to be given to Lt. Miller upon his retirement in 2025.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
