WHEREAS, The City wishes to improve the roadway and intersection on West Pride Blvd for safety, improve local truck operations, and maintain the health of existing oak tress within the center median; and
WHEREAS, in addition to the roadway and intersection improvements, an additional right turn lane from East Pride Drive to northbound South McKenzie Street will be installed; and
WHEREAS, Kimley-Horne submitted a professional Engineering Design Services Proposal; and
WHEREAS, The City approves the use Impact Fees for this project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approve Kimley-Horn's Professional Engineering Design Services Proposal and appropriate $120,000.00 to Account No #208-3000-5107 West Pride Intersection Impv.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
