WHEREAS, Police Department Deems the following Vehicles Surplus: Unit # 08-12, 2000 Crown Victoria Silver in color VIN# 2FAFP71W2YX102873, Unit # 08-55, 2006 Crown Victoria White in color VIN# 2FAFP71W16X165542, Unit # 08-19, 2004 Crown Victoria White in color VIN# 2FAFP71W74X169785, Unit # 08-30, 2004 Crown Victoria White in color VIN# 2FAFP71W04X144176, and
WHEREAS, Police Department Deems surplus 2 Whelen Liberty 48" Light Bars.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Declares the following Police Department Vehicles Surplus: Unit # 08-12, 2000 Crown Victoria Silver in color VIN# 2FAFP71W2YX102873, Unit # 08-55, 2006 Crown Victoria White in color VIN# 2FAFP71W16X165542, Unit # 08-19, 2004 Crown Victoria White in color VIN# 2FAFP71W74X169785, Unit # 08-30, 2004 Crown Victoria White in color VIN# 2FAFP71W04X144176.
SECTION 2: Declares the following Police Department items surplus: 2 Whelen Liberty 48" Light Bars and approves donating the two light bars to Silverhill's Police Department, who is in need of them.
SECTION 3: Approves disposal of the other surplus items by the best available means.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
