WHEREAS, the City purchased the Claude Peteet Building and Operational Account 01-620-2194 was created in the General Government account for expenses related to remodeling and upgrades necessary to prepare the building to be leased by the Performing Arts Association, and,
WHEREAS, the building projects have been completed but the City will be responsible for maintenance and repair as dictated in the lease agreement .
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves moving operational account 01-620-2194 with the remaining budget of $4,421.33 to Municipal Complex and create a Property Maintenance and Repair Account for the Peteet Building (01-616-4140) for the maintenance and repairs for which the City will be responsible for in accordance with the existing lease.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
